Watercolor Gallery

Watercolors proved an ever-reliable medium for Dian’s artistic expression throughout her life. Working primarily on paper, she explored a wide range of techniques, from delicate, texture-revealing brushwork to richly saturated washes where pigments bleed and merge, creating depth and unique gradients.

As geometric based motifs are a common thread throughout her works, Dian’s watercolors are often organized within grid-based compositions. These abstract works balance intuition with restraint, resulting in a distinctive visual language; expressive abstraction held within intentional boundaries. Grid-influenced works can also be found throughout the Woven Gallery and Additional Works in Oil Pastel. This collection of abstract watercolor art is available for exhibition, auction, and private acquisition.
